CCL5 and congenital rubella syndrome: In the case of unstimulated samples, CRS patients with predominant gram-negative infections produced higher level of RANTES compared to control patients and CRS patients with predominant gram-positive infections and the difference between the control group and gram-negative patients’ group was statistically significant, P = 0.01, however, no statically significant difference was observed between gram-positive patients’ when compared to gram-negative patients’ group.
