Diabetes influenced IgM autoantibody levels: diabetic patients (both DR and NoDR) had significantly lower IgM autoantibody levels against MDA-oxLDL than nondiabetic controls (3389 (SD 3998) versus 4258 (SD 3578), p = 0.043), but the IgG and IgA autoantibody levels did not differ significantly between the D group (DR and NoDR) and the C group. Here, CD79A is linked to diabetes mellitus.
