CRP and coronary stenosis: Although there is ample evidence that levels of CRP[37,38] and IL-6[39,40] are related to CVD both in the general population as well as in the HIV-infected population,[5,41–43] the current review does not indicate any consistent relation of CRP and IL-6 to coronary calcium score, coronary stenosis, SPECT, 18FDG PET scan or measurements of arterial stiffness.
