We first explored the relationship between HNRNPA2B1 and EMT in wild-type human pancreatic cancer cell lines (Patu-8988, MIA Paca-2 and PANC-1) by qRT-PCR and Western blotting and we found highest N-cadherin and HNRNPA2B1 expression and lowest E-cadherin in the Patu-8988 cell line compared to the Panc-1 and MIA Paca-2 cell line. This evidence concerns the gene HNRNPA2B1 and familial pancreatic carcinoma.
