In view of the fact that c-MYC is a crucial regulator of CSCs [13] and SFN possesses the capability in suppressing CSCs in pancreatic [4] and breast [5] cancers, we investigated functional impact of the SFN/miR-214/c-MYC pathway on CSCs in NSCLC. The gene discussed is MYC; the disease is non-small cell lung carcinoma.
