With regard to the CYP2E1*6 Dra I (D/C) variation, our result indicated a significant increased BC risk in genetic model D/C vs. D/D (OR = 1.29, 95% CI = 1.04–1.61, P = 0.023) and C/C + D/C vs. D/D (OR = 1.25, 95% CI = 1.04–1.51, P = 0.019) (Fig. 2c), as well as in allele model C vs. D (OR = 1.28, 95% CI = 1.05–1.55, P = 0.014). The gene discussed is CYP2E1; the disease is breast cancer.
