Using the wGII score as a surrogate of chromosomal instability and aneuploidy in CRC as previously described (Chin et al., 2007, Lee et al., 2011), we observed significantly higher wGII scores in tumors harboring BCL9L mutation or copy-number loss compared with tumors with no alteration in BCL9L (Figure 1C). Here, BCL9L is linked to colorectal carcinoma.
