Blood TDPase, TMPase, and TPK activities of APOE ε4 allele carriers in AD patients or control subjects were not significantly different from those in non-carriers of APOE ε4 allele (in AD patients, TDPase: 1.28 ± 0.13 vs. 1.19 ± 0.09, P = 0.60, TMPase: 1.27 ± 0.07 vs. 1.17 ± 0.06, P = 0.29, TPK: 0.93 ± 0.05 vs. 0.93±0.06, P = 0.99; in control subjects, TDPase: 0.82 ± 0.01 vs. 1.02 ± 0.04, P = 0.19, TMPase: 1.17 ± 0.057 vs.0.99 ± 0.06, P = 0.42, TPK: 1.02 ± 0.12 vs. 1.00 ± 0.04, P = 0.89; S4A–S4F Fig).
