CD4 and lung carcinoma: As shown in Fig. 1c, CIBERSORT revealed striking consistency in relative immune cell fractions within and across clinical subgroups of lung cancer, with plasma cells, monocytes and macrophages, CD4 T cells, and mast cells being the most common immune cell subsets with mean fractions of 0.354, 0.249, 0.128 and 0.064 respectively.
