As reported by Giovanetti et al. 8 and Vlková et al. 9, naïve CD4 T cells were lower for age in CVID patients, in our cohort the immunosenescence in CVID followed the same rate as seen in healthy individuals (see the slope of the reduction of naïve CD4 T-cells with age), but CVID patients showed an initial “handicap”, which made them look immunologically older than appropriate for their age. Here, CD4 is linked to common variable immunodeficiency.
