Having demonstrated that EZH2 inhibition reduces the expression of oncogenes either previously involved in genetic aberrations or strongly associated to growth in MM; IRF-4, XBP-1, BLIMP-1 and c-MYC, we used the microRNA.org resource [25] to identify which of the miRNAs predicted to target these genes were regulated by UNC1999. The gene discussed is EZH2; the disease is Miyoshi myopathy.
