BCL2 and cancer: The present results indicate that compound 3c 1) induces apoptosis by increasing ROS levels, 2) increases p53 expression modulate Bcl2 family proteins expression, 3) leads to PARP cleavage and cytochrome c release 4) reduces NADPH and GSH levels and 5) suppresses cancer cell migration by altering EMT markers and inhibits TGFβ dependent phosphorylation of Smads.
