CircRNA profiling and circRNA/miRNA interactions were first studied in bladder cancer, and researchers demonstrated that overexpression of circTCF25 could downregulate miR-103a-3p and miR-107, increase cyclin-dependent kinase 6 (CDK6) expression, and promote proliferation and migration in vitro and in vivo. This evidence concerns the gene CDK6 and urinary bladder carcinoma.
