ACSL5 and metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis: When genes upregulated by NET47 in the HT1080 cells were compared with genes normally upregulated in hepatogenesis, the overlapping set included several for which the levels are altered in hepatocellular carcinoma or other liver diseases such as non-alcoholic steatohepatitis: FBLN1,38KLK6,28TGFBR3,31NDRG2,39PCOLCE,32 and ACSL5. 40Moreover, in the myogenesis study several genes induced during muscle injury were under muscle NET regulation, suggesting an additional NET function in priming genes critical for regeneration.6
