When stratified by population, a significant association between NFKB1 -94ins/delATTG polymorphism and decreased cancer risk among Asians was detected under all genetic models (DD vs. II: OR = 0.67, 95% CI = 0.55-0.80; ID vs. II: OR = 0.86, 95% CI = 0.79-0.94; DD vs. ID/II: OR = 0.75, 95% CI = 0.65-0.86; ID/DD vs. II: OR = 0.80, 95% CI = 0.72-0.89; D vs. I: OR = 0.83, 95% CI = 0.76-0.91).
