In our previous study, we showed that a novel small chemical molecular 5-(3-bromo-4-(dimethylamino)phenyl)-2,2-dimethyl-2,3,5,6-tetrahydrobenzo[a]phenanthridin-4(1H)-one, designated as 968, could block Rho GTPase-dependent cellular transformation and the growth of human breast cancer cells and B lymphoma cells without affecting normal cells by inhibiting GAC activity [9].
