To test this possibility, we altered LINC00052 expression in breast cancer cells MCF7 and T47D by knockdown of LINC00052 using shRNA-silencing or ectopically expressing full non-spliced RNA LINC00052. Results revealed decreasing levels of HER3 expression upon LINC00052-knockdown in comparison to control cells (Figure 3A and 3B; Supplementary Figure S4A and S4B).
