This data demonstrated that neither allele nor genotype frequencies varied significantly for any of the clinicopathological characteristics evaluated including age at diagnosis, tumor stage, size or grade, hormone, HER2 or lymph node status, intrinsic subtype, tumor type or patient outcome, suggesting that blood type is not associated with increased risk or less favorable tumor characteristics or prognosis in breast cancer [88]. Here, ERBB2 is linked to breast carcinoma.
