C4B and autism: We found measurable levels in 74–100% of saliva samples from 12 healthy neurotypical adults on two occasions for 10 biomarkers important to autism: glutamine, glutamic acid, CD26, C4B, IFN-γ, cortisol, melatonin, testosterone, MT-2 and GSSG, but in <50% of samples for carnitine, GABA, IL-12, serotonin, cystine and rGSH.
