MARCKS and triple-negative breast carcinoma: Using both in vitro and in vivo models of triple-negative breast cancers, they then showed accumulation of phospho-MARCKS in response to paclitaxel treatment and an increased paclitaxel sensitivity after reduction of phospho-MARCKS by knockdown or by treatment with MANS peptide, a phospho-MARCKS inhibitor targeting the N-terminal myristoylation site.
