Based on the data demonstrating that endogenous inhibition of endothelial NF-κB signalling augments homeostatic and regenerative haematopoiesis in vivo, we next sought to determine if transplantation of NF-κB-inhibited BMECs can be utilized as a cellular therapy to treat haematological disorders that require radiation and/or chemotherapy to induce remission. Here, NFKB1 is linked to hematologic disorder.
