In the case of methylation levels in the SPINT1 gene promoter region, the results of ROC analyses suggested that aMCI and AD could be diagnosed with moderate accuracy (AUC: 0.78, 95% CI: 0.69–0.88, P < 0.0001, sensitivity 63.8%, specificity 83.3%, cutoff value 39.0) (Fig 2F). Here, SPINT1 is linked to Alzheimer disease.
