As expected, immunofluorescence and western blot demonstrated that the expression of Sirt4 was significantly enhanced in Ang II-induced cardiomyocytes and TAC mice, and the expression of Sirt4 was significantly down-regulated with the overexpression of miR-497 both in vitro and in vivo (Fig 4A and 4B). The gene discussed is SIRT4; the disease is persistent truncus arteriosus.
