Recently, it was found that inactivation of the NF-κB signaling by propofolabrogated gemcitabine-induced activation of NF-κB, resulting in the chemosensitizationof pancreatic cancer cells to gemcitabine (13).In aggressive ovarian cancers, NF-κB and NF-κB target gene MMP-9 are activated (14,15). This evidence concerns the gene MMP9 and ovarian cancer.
