Reciprocally, to assess the effect of increased FcRn expression levels, the prostate cancer cell line, DU145, was lentivirally transduced with two different human FcRn-expressing constructs: wild type FcRn (WT-FcRn) and a mutated FcRn variant (H166A-FcRn) that has lost binding to albumin with retention of affinity for IgG [14]. The gene discussed is FCGRT; the disease is prostate carcinoma.
