RET rearrangements are found in 1–2% lung adenocarcinoma and are mutually exclusive with mutations involving EGFR, ALK, or KRAS. Vandetanib, sorafenib, sunitinib, lenvatinib, ponatinib, and cabozantinib are multi-targeted TKIs with RET-blocking activity. This evidence concerns the gene RET and lung adenocarcinoma.
