The major findings of this study include (i) the resolving mode of action of RvD2 on complementary membrane and cellular inflammatory biomarkers such as CysLTR1, 5-LOX, p38-MAPK and AP-1; (ii) the broncho-modulatory role of RvD2 on LTD4- and TNF-α-induced airway hyperresponsiveness. This evidence concerns the gene MAPK14 and airway hyperresponsiveness.
