IGHE and atopic asthma: In conclusion, this one‐year follow‐up study on relatively well‐controlled adults with atopic asthma and ongoing inhaled corticosteroid treatment at baseline, using merged data from a randomized, controlled trial, showed that optimized treatment with inhaled corticosteroids and a leukotriene‐receptor antagonist resulted in a marked decrease in both total IgE and IgE‐antibody concentrations.
