In the last years, numerous studies have demonstrated that p53 isoforms are differentially expressed in several human cancers types: breast cancer, colon carcinoma, melanoma, renal cell carcinoma (RCC), head and neck tumors (HNSSCs), hepatic cholangiocarcinoma, acute myeloid leukemia (AML), ovarian cancer, lung tumor, and glioblastoma [120,121,122,124,125,126]. This evidence concerns the gene TP53 and ovarian carcinoma.
