SNIP1 and cardiac hypertrophy: After AB operation for 4 weeks, the survival rates reduced to 92.3% (n=12/13) in the wild‐type group, 80% (n=12/15) in the SNIP1‐KO group, and SNIP1‐KO mice showed more severe cardiac hypertrophy than wild‐type mice, as indicated by increased heart weight (HW)/body weight (BW), lung weight (LW)/BW, and HW/tibia length (TL) (Figure 3A and Table 2).
