For TF-targeted PDT, Hu et al. conjugated a monomeric fVII peptide with the photosensitizers (PS) verteporfin (VP) and Sn(IV) chlorin e6 (SnCe6) (referred to as fVII-VP and fVII-SnCe6, respectively) and showed that fVII-targeted PDT could selectively and effectively kill angiogenic vascular endothelial cells and cancer cells in vitro and in vivo in mouse models of human breast [18–20] and lung cancer [15]. This evidence concerns the gene TF and cancer.
