CCNA2 and colorectal carcinoma: Results from western-blot (Figure 3C) showed GLS1 inhibition led to more cleavage of apoptosis-related markers such as PARP and Caspase 9 in HCT116 and HT29 CRC cells and less cyclins such as cyclin A, cyclin B, CDK4 (Figure 3C) whereas GLS1 overexpression could largely eliminated the selenite-induced cell apoptosis and cell cycle arrest.
