MAPT and Alzheimer disease: Table 8 provides description of some of the interesting border genes, namely, APBB2, CASP2, CSNK1D, CDK5, HSD17B10, MAPT, PSEN2, and RCAN1. Some of the pathways associated with these border genes are depicted in Table 9 and their description is given in Table 10. A few of these pathways, namely, Wnt signaling pathway, Alzheimer disease-amyloid secretase pathway, Apoptosis signaling pathway, and Glycolysis are found to be related to AD, which are further validated using GeneCards and existing literature18, 19.
