RTN4 and Alzheimer disease: Gene expression profiling revealed that the PS1P117L AD neurons show significantly altered expression of genes associated with microtubule dynamics, growth of neuritis or neuritogenesis, formation of cellular protrusion or plasma membrane projections (Supplementary Table S4), including 16 neuritogenesis-related genes (ATXN10, CCDC88A, CLASP2, DCC, DCX, FNBP1L, GDI1, KIF3A, MAP1B, MAP2, PAK3, PAX6, PFN2, RTN4, STMN1, UCHL1) whose expression is significantly downregulated in the AD model neurons (Supplementary Fig. S9).
