SNAI1 and breast carcinoma: To further understand the clinical relevance of our findings to human breast cancer, we firstly examined both miR-182 and SNAI1 expression in 40 fresh frozen breast cancer tissue specimens, and found a significant inverse correlation between miR-182 and SNAI1 expression among these specimens (Figure 6A and Supplementary Figure S8), indicating a negative regulation between miR-182 and SNAI1 in tissues.
