Although the role of other coagulation proteins including Protein kinase C, eta (PRKCH), Ras-related C3 botulinum toxin substrate 1 (rho family, small GTP binding protein Rac1) (RAC1), 3-phosphoinositide dependent protein kinase-1 (PDPK1), Guanine nucleotide binding protein (G protein), alpha inhibiting activity polypeptide 2 (GNAI2) and Lysine (K)-specific demethylase 1A (KDM1A) are reported to be involved in the pathophysiology of thrombosis, ET and PV individually, however, the exact mechanism of these genes sharing the role in all three diseases still requires in-depth research. This evidence concerns the gene KDM1A and acquired polycythemia vera.
