Diabetic subjects required more insulin, had a worse median glycemia (131[110–166] vs. 116[107–128] mg/dl, p = 0.034), spent less time in target glycemia (25 ± 12 vs. 36 ± 15%, p = 0.006), more time in hypoglycemia (4[1–10] vs. 0[0–1]%, p = 0.001) than non-diabetic subjects.
