In fact, we found a significant correlation between the number of CD3-positive cells/mm2 in melanoma specimens and aqueous MCP-1 (R2 = 0.47, p = 0.01) as well as IL-8 levels (R2 = 0.63, p = 0.0011), but not angiogenin level (R2 = 0.007, p = 0.78) (data not shown). This evidence concerns the gene CXCL8 and melanoma.
