Nevertheless, other studies investigating haplotype in other DNMT3B polymorphisms reveal that −579G>T and −283T>C is a haplotype that could affect the DNMT3B’s expression, and the combined genotype −283T/−579G achieved a reduced risk of adenocarcinoma, in comparison with −283C/−579T [16].
