Several canonical pathways (BH-adj-pvalue ≤ 0.05, which indicated a non-random association) were identified by GCP analysis, including oxidative phosphorylation (BH-adj-pvalue = 7.94e-17), mitochondrial dysfunction (BH-adj-pvalue = 3.98e-16), insulin receptor signaling (BH-adj-pvalue = 0.02), LPS-stimulated MAPK signaling (BH-adj-pvalue = 0.035), role of NFAT in cardiac hypertrophy (BH-adj-pvalue = 0.035) and Huntington’s disease signaling (BH-adj-pvalue = 0.04) (see Additional file 13). This evidence concerns the gene INSR and Huntington disease.
