Zhang et al. [21] and Zeng et al. [22] conducted meta-analyses and showed that high IL-17 expression was significantly correlated with an advanced stage of NSCLC (III/IV), overall survival (OS), and disease-free survival (DFS), which suggests that IL-17 promotes the growth and development of NSCLC. The gene discussed is IL17A; the disease is non-small cell lung carcinoma.
