With respect to the presence of CHF across disease and healthy controls, we detected receiver operating characteristics (ROC) of ANG, which showed ANG was a significant but not a good discriminator (AUC 0.71, 95% CI 0.63–0.78, p < 0.001), with a poorer performance compared to LVEF (AUC 0.80, 95% CI 0.74–0.85, p < 0.001) or NT-proBNP levels (0.91, 95% CI 0.87–0.95, p < 0.001) (Figure 2).
