The cerebral ischemia-induced apoptosis levels, caspase 3, and caspase 9 activities significantly decreased in the ISC+ACA (p ≤ 0.05), ISC+CPZ (p ≤ 0.05), ISC+DEX (p ≤ 0.001), ISC+DEX+ACA (p ≤ 0.001), and ISC+DEX+CPZ (p ≤ 0.001) groups through the ACA, CPZ, and DEX treatments, although MTT levels in the groups were markedly (p ≤ 0.05 and p ≤ 0.001) increased by the treatments. This evidence concerns the gene CASP9 and brain ischemia.
