We obtained 48 TF entries that had significantly different expression levels between high and low Akt samples, out of which 22 TF entries had more expression in low Akt GBM samples which could potentially be the transcriptional activators of ARRB1 and are suppressed by the PI3 kinase pathway (Additional file 4: Figure S2). This evidence concerns the gene AKT1 and glioblastoma.
