Interestingly, our analysis showed that the level of Gd-IgA1 in IgAN was significantly higher compared with other renal diseases, including minimal change disease (MCD), membranous nephropathy, biopsy-proven nephro-arteriolosclerosis, Alport syndrome, thin basement nephropathy and mesangial proliferative glomerulonephritis. Here, IGHA1 is linked to lipoid nephrosis.
