All of them were expressed at the high levels in the ALL, and at the significantly lower levels in the AML cells, as this was the case for all eleven ubiquitin-specific peptidase (USP) genes from the list, four ubiquitin protein ligase genes (UBR5, UBE2T, UBE2Q1, UBE2L3), and four genes for proteasome subunit A (PSMA). Here, UBR5 is linked to acute myeloid leukemia.
