Asai A, et al. investigated the expression of p53 in several human (U251, U87, U343) and rat glioma cell lines (C6, 9 L) and found that U87, U343, and C6 cells expressed wild type-p53 messages while U251 and 9 L cells expressed mutated form-p53 messages [22].
