FOXP3 and breast cancer: In our clinical-pathological case, FOXP3 (which is the hall-mark of regulatory T cells) is upregulated in both breast cancer and metastatic lymph node (2.72 and 4.15 fold up comparing to normal tissue, respectively), but its expression level is insignificantly changed in uterus when compared to normal breast or lymph node tissue (1.23 and 1.26 fold, respectively), and its expression level is actually down-regulated in placenta compared to normal breast or lymph node tissue (0.54 and 0.56 fold, respectively).
