Indeed, ACT plus anti-PD-1, anti-PD-L1, or anti-CTLA4 synergistically reduced tumor growth in the MC38 carcinoma, B16 and B16F10 melanoma mouse models (150–152) and increased the long-term survival in transgenic Her-2 mice upon ACT of Her-2+-specific CAR T cells and anti-PD-1 compared to the monotherapies (153).
