We hypothesize as follows: (1) a targeted drug delivery, iron oxide magnetic nanoparticle system, conjugated with ligand CD80 and VEGF antibody and implemented as multiple doses, would significantly reduce in vitro rodent OSA cell proliferation and (2) the highest concentration of the two protein conjugates on the nanoparticle surface would be optimal for inducing cell death in this model. Here, VEGFA is linked to obstructive sleep apnea syndrome.
